N°9 – The Tiger Shark

The tiger shark is one of the most feared shark species in the world. With a size that can reach up to six meters, it can prey on animals much larger than itself, including humans. While shark attacks are relatively rare, tiger shark attacks can be particularly deadly.

The tiger shark is known for its massive jaws, capable of inflicting lethal injuries in a single attack. Attacks can occur when a surfer or swimmer is in the water but also when a diver is hunting or taking underwater photos.

Tiger shark attacks are particularly formidable because these animals often do not release their prey after the initial attack, which can cause fatal injuries within minutes.
