N°10 – The Bear

Bears are magnificent, majestic, and powerful animals. Unfortunately, they can also be extremely dangerous to humans. Bears have the ability to kill a human in a matter of seconds.

Bear attacks are rare but can be deadly. Bears can be highly aggressive when they feel threatened or are protecting their territory. It’s important to take precautions when hiking or camping in areas where bears are known to be present.

If you encounter a bear, it’s important to remain calm and not run, as this can trigger the bear’s predatory instinct. Avoid blocking the bear’s view and slowly back away while facing the animal. If the bear attacks you, use hard objects to defend yourself, such as sticks, rocks, or camping pots. If you’re lucky, this may deter the bear and give you a chance to escape.
